By 'profession' and inclination I am an electro-mechanical technician.

In good design I see beauty and order. Perversly, in other areas of my life I am often chaotic, eccentic and esoteric. I walk my own path. I do not believe I have any artistic talent and try to approach things methodically.

I rekindled my interest in photograhy a couple of years ago with a Sony Ericsson 850i Camera Phone. Eventually I bought a Fuji Finepix s9500 which I thought was a fabulous 'bridge' camera but I outgrew it in about 12 months as I began to get more adventurous with what I wanted to do. I traded up to a Nikon D80 with am 18~135 zoom and a Sigma DG 28~300mm.

I never really got to grips with the Nikon so it went and a Canon 60D acquired in 2012. Ive hardly used it.

Many of my early photos are of Northamptonshire where I lived for nearly 40 years and various cheap vacations in Europe.

I now live in South West Portugal.
