Philip Sen offers 16 years of experience in media and communications, a wide range of relevant skills, and extensive knowledge of international development.

 

Before starting the Tell Our Story creative communications consultancy for non-profit organizations, Philip was Communications and Advocacy Officer for the United Nations in Cambodia.

 

Prior to that he worked for four years at the United Nations Volunteers (UNV) programme; for example managing global strategic communications for the tenth anniversary of the International Year of Volunteers project.

 

He also gained private sector experience with DHL, working on internal communications for major corporate social responsibility schemes.

 

As a journalist in the UK and Asia, Philip wrote for publications from The Guardian and Jane’s Defence Weekly to Wallpaper* and The Sunday Times Travel Magazine. In 2001 he was highly commended at the British magazine industry’s PPA New Journalist of the Year Awards.

 

Educated at the Universities of Oxford, Cardiff and Amsterdam, Philip Sen is based in Sydney, Australia, with frequent travel around the region.
