I'm based in Bristol in the UK and I've been taking photos for about 18months since my wife bought me a Canon 400D with 18-55mm kit lens, a 90-300mm zoom, and a new Sigma 10-20mm most recently....I'm lovin' it, but so much to learn, I'm soakin' everything up and trying to create better images...so many images to be taken so little time :) I hope you enjoy browsing through my photostream. Update_Feb18th 2010 Wow what a great six months....thoroughly enjoying what Flickr has to offer! Met some really lovely people, always taken aback by everyones positive, supportive and constructive comments, I am constantly amazed and inspired by the many many talented, and creative photographers on here too.....makes you realise how far I have to go, but content with my own progression . I've realised I can't add every wonderful photographer I see, and that whilst it's fantastic to get images in explore it's not the be all and end all..... I've had many first experiences since joining.....a shot in Explore at #2, a front page, over 1000 hits on one image, taken my first self portrait, shooting in RAW, and my first commission! There are still lots of things to try and explore, and even more things to learn and I'm looking forward to sharing all these things with my new found flickr friends...thankyou so much! :)
