I have been keen on photography for many years. Born and lived in England all my life until 2010 when I moved to Ireland.

My first SLR camera was a Chinon CP7 35mm back in the early 80’s I did mostly B&W then as I used to develop my own pictures.

My first digital camera was a Samsung digimax A503, I thought this was wonderful. How things develop (excuse the pun) so quickly in a few years.

I then moved on to a Fuji finepix S5700, a great little camera and that got me back into photography. I took early retirement at 55 (2012) and got myself a Fuji finepix HS30EXR.

I completed an online photographic course with the Institute Of Photography (IOP).

I have upgraded my kit and now use a Nikon D5200 and D7100 with various lenses.
