Rediscovering my familiar world through a lens thrills me.

Creating a world to my liking in post-processing comes in a close second.

I live in The City Different in the Land of Enchantment and most of my images are taken while walking my dogs in downtown Santa Fe, NM. I am the administrator of the Santa Fe NM US group pool, which is open for all images taken in and around our town. If you have an interest in Santa Fe, NM, plan on visiting, or desire more of a community forum, the discussion threads might be helpful. Since I am the custodian of two canine buddies and we visit our fantastic dog park frequently, I created a group called Santa Fe Dog Park for community building and images taken only from within that special space. Some of my photos you will only find in that pool. If you are a dog lover you might like what you find there, dogs of all kinds and gorgeous views to boot. The discussion threads are open for anyone with any concerns in regard to our dog park and pet custodianship. I welcome your participation.

i started flickr with images taken on my first digital camera an Olympus Styluls that fits just perfectly in the palm of my hand. Once I got to look forward to some serious walking with my new rescued puppy, Isabella-girl, I got myself a Nikon D40 to bring along as to keep me eager and excited to go out hunt for images while walking my pup. April 2012 I won my first camera on e-bay, a Panasonic Lumix DMC FZ-35 which comes with 18 x zoom, very handy when shooting with dogs on lead. In May of 2012 I got my 2. camera from e-bay, a used Olympus C-8080. I hope my sense of this camera will prove right and I will be able to take interesting images with a good quality lens. I will be on a learning curve as regards these two new to me cameras.

April 10th, 2013: My Nikon D40 and Olympus C-8080 are up for sale so as to finance my newest acquisition, a Nikon D5100 (refurbished because money does not grow on trees, or in a garden of mine.)

June 2013: I could not resist a good deal on a refurbished Olympus PEN Mini E-PM1, a fascinating piece of equipment.
