Dr. Wei-Chieh Yang was born in Keelung, Taiwan.

He received B.S. and M.S. degrees in Chemistry from National Tsing Hua University and Ph.D. degree in Materials Science and Engineering from National Tsing Hua University.

Dr. Yang has the fame as an amateur birding photographer in Taiwan.

He won several prizes in contests and was invited the manuscripts for magazines and newspapers.

Dr. Yang published his own book which guides the techniques of bird photography in July, 2007.

我是個攝影愛好者，

原本大多拍人像的我，

誤打誤撞迷上飛羽攝影。

在尋訪過許多山林、溪澗後，

驚豔於福爾摩沙這塊寶地所蘊藏的生態資源，

也讓我興起了撰寫Blog的念頭，

希望能藉把台灣的飛羽之美透過攝影跟大家分享。
