I am relatively new to Flickr, and moderately good at taking pictures, but I am a quick study. Back in high school one of my Physics teachers fed me this misconception “Listen up son, the secret to taking good photographs is lighting. Lighting is everything, the subject is nothing!” So, what I took away from this was that lighting is quintessential, makes picture perfect and I always have to be on the lookout for it. Nowadays, I know better. If the subject is not interesting, and the composition is not appealing to the eye, lighting alone can't fix the picture; it just won't shine, no matter how hard I take Lightroom at it :-) BTW I am partially colorblind, so you'll find that my stream is heavily dominated by monochrome photos.Thanks for popping in!

Kezdő flickr-es vagyok, a fotógráfiában még nem annyira sikeres, de tanulok. Középiskolás koromban tévhitet ültetett az agyamba egyik fizika tanárom - „Fiam, a jó fénykép titka az, hogy a téma semmi, a fény minden!” - Nekem ebből az jött át, hogy a fény luxus és ugyanúgy mint, ahogy a növényeknek létfontosságú a fény ahhoz, hogy létrejöjjön bennük a fotószintézis, nekem is sasolnom kell a fényt, hogy összehozzak egy „fotó szinte ez is”-t. Mai fejemmel tudom már, hogy ha nem érdekes a téma és nem jó a kompozíció hiába fényezem, nem csillog. Ja, és ha valaki úgy gondolná, hogy kissé túlzásba vittem az utómunkázást monokróm irányba a streamemben: színtévesztő vagyok és így nem kell paráznom a színek miatt. Köszi, hogy bekukkantottál!
