origionaly from Washington state, I got interested in photography because I was tired of always thinking "that would have been a great picture!" but not having a camera. In late 2006 I acquired a Sony Handicam for its abilities to shoot video and stills, but was not satisfied with the image quality of a 3mp camera, so once again I was on the hunt. In mid 2007 I acquired (i say acquired because it was free to me) my first "true" camera, a Minolta XE7. What a beauty. I was hooked! within a matter of just a few months my new "collection" included an SRT101, SRT201(now not working:(), maxxum STSI and a slurry of lenses, flashes and accesories. Which brings us to my current "baby". Staying as true as possible to the minolta roots I have sewn, as of January 2008, I now sport a Sony Alpha A100. My lens collection for this camera has just begun but includes some fine examples such as a Tamron 28-105 f2.8, Vivitar 70-210 f2.8, minolta 75-300 f4.5-6.3 as well as the venerable 28-80 minolta kit lens and sony 18-70 kit lens. I now have an addiction that I do not forsee leaving for a very, very long time.

New addition to the lens family! Sigma 400 f5.6 telemacro.

Also caveat for any that dare venture in my way too long photo stream. I do tend to post alot of crap shots, not everyone is a winner, but for one reason or another either I liked it, it means something to me, or I'm posting it for the benefit of my friends or family who visit. That being said there are some jewels to be found if you dig long enough. I'm not real good about putting on titles or descriptions to all of my shots, so if you have a question please ask, I'll do my best to answer in a very long winded manor (read coments on my full moon shot and you'll get the idea) cheers!

also forgot to mention..new gear as of 07/01/08. a bigma 50-500 has been added to my arsenal!!
