I have been fortunate to be able to combine two of my favorite pastimes, travel and photography. When I'm not on the move, I can take advantage of the great photo opportunities around my home in the Canadian Rockies.

Two events coincided to spark my interest in taking pictures: retirement, which gave me more time for a hobby and the evolution of digital photography which made it much more satisfying.

I particularly enjoy learning new techniques, in the taking of the pictures and in the post-processing. As I see it, I have a lifetime of learning ahead of me.

My principal photographic interests are wildlife and landscapes.
