Pete is one of my favourite photographers and one of the few people I would call “friend”. He is such a good-humoured, smart and lovely person one of the nicest you could ever meet; he always has a smile and is so interesting to talk with honest with a sense of fun, friendly and an extremely nice guy. I cannot remember the exact occasion that I first met him although he has been a fellow group member with me in the Nottingham UK group for a while. His photography is outstanding, truly exceptional. He has a superb eye and always takes an interesting image exhibiting his expertise and love of photography. Viewing the world through Pete’s eyes and his camera lens is a lovely experience, the range of subjects are absorbing and interesting, and never dull. Pete, your view of the world is beautiful and fascinating and thanks for sharing it and your friendship with me.

I am surprised that there are no testimonials here for Pete. Either nobody has written one yet or Pete chooses to keep them hidden. Well, regardless of either, I will add mine. I joined Flickr following a tip from my lady love. Having not creatively picked up a camera in over 25 years, I wanted some inspiration to get me back into something that I enjoyed. How I came across Pete's photostream escapes me now but he has been a contact of mine almost since day one. His compositions struck me immediately and his work is always a pleasure to view. I have received help, encouragement and, most of all, inspiration from Pete. His knowledge and love of his art show in every image that he posts here. The 'Zabeye' has become almost usual terminology due to some amazing images. His love of architecture shows through with some interesting and thought provoking pictures. It has been a pleasure to walk around with Pete on quite a few occasions and watch how he operates. I could only hope for such brilliant vision. He is a natural, no matter what the subject. I am now lucky enough to know Pete as a friend, photographic inspiration and occasional drinking buddy. We have a joint affection for a pint of Harvest Pale. ;-) Thank you Pete for your input, which comes in many ways. It is a pleasure knowing you and being constantly inspired by you.
