Retired professional graphic artist with an interest in photography that has spanned nearly fifty decades.

My day job was mainly spent producing press advertising visuals, TV storyboards and animatics, along with artwork for press and print, though since my retirement from the pressures of making images for commercial use I have enjoyed picking up my camera again and making images that are stress-free to keep me sane. :)

During my 4 year Graphic Illustration course at Medway College of Art way back in 1969 -1972 the Foundation Course introduced me to photography which I embraced with enthusiasm, but sadly my interest was shelved many years later after my daughters were born, and I only made 'holiday style snaps' during their formative years.

With the development of high-end digital imagery my attention was seriously re-ignited after I joined flickr in 2010, and I am now enjoying the art of processing RAW files with thought and consideration, as opposed to my early days of shooting Jpeg only and realising later it's post-enhancement limitations.

My sincere thanks to all my flickr friends and followers who keep me motivated to use this incredible medium, and who have encouraged me during my 14 year tenure with over 5000 posts, resulting in 7.3 million views of my images.
