I've been into photography since around 1966, although I dismantled my parent's Kodak Brownie at an earlier age (to see how it was put together).

I have used some good cameras across the years, among them a number of Canons i.e. A1, Ae1, Ae1 program, Olympus PenF (a classic which I still have in original box with instruction booklet), 2 Pentax ME super, 3 Nikon F4s's (1 lost, 1 mugged for, and 1 still in occasional use) Nikon D100, and a neat little Samsung V700 pocket digital.

I also have every Practical Photography mag since 1968 with the exception of 2 copies and stopped collecting earlier this year (2009).

My favourite form of photography is macro, then natural history, then landscapes, then candids. I think I would classify myself as a 'general purpose' photographer.

Most of my current photography involves local bands and local views.
