This all began more than 50 years ago completing the Pennine Way in 1976 and two years later making my first ascent of Mont Blanc . Since then I've completed all the English and Welsh Nuttals, (mountains over 200' 446) all the Lakeland "Wainwrights" together with a number of Munro's and Corbetts. We still visit the Alps in our VW Camper but sadly my climbing days are behind me and not in front of me.

Many long distance footpath walks were completed including the Coast to Coast, Hadrian's Wall, Sutherland Trail, Cunbrian Way, Dales Way, Dales High Way and West Highland Way.

Having started with film cameras from Zorki, Miranda, Zenith Praktika and then Olympus OM1 and OM2 I now use both Canon and Olympus digital cameras.

In the last decade my images have appeared in many articles, magazines, editorials, newspapers, books, BBC and online.
