I'm 60 years old and I've been interested in photography for several years, but it was my purchase of my first DSLR camera about 12 years ago, that really gave me the opportunity to progress.

I'm passionate about beautiful landscapes, but also love to photograph and watch birds and wildlife.

Flickr opened my eyes to the fantastic photographers out there that are now inspiring me to hopefully continue to improve and learn new techniques every day.

Have recently been teaching myself video too, and find it adds an extra dimension to the photography, even if it is a steep learning curve!
