I am Peter van de Lavoir, male, and together with Frea my wife I was the owner of an insurance office . I have three children, and my eldest daughter: "Amelieke" who is very artistic, and also a good photographer, finished art school.

 

Except Photographing, I like to listen to, and make classical music, especialy vocal and choral music a-cappella, and polyphonic music. Some years ago I started to make more pictures, but this time with a digital camera.

 

I live in Lith, a village in the south of the Netherlands, on the boards of the river Meuse. For me it is easy to go into the country to make landscape pictures Mostly I can walk the distance but often I load my equipment on my bicycle (yes, I live in the Netherlands), or even in my car, in order to gain some more distance. Mostly, after I parked my bicycle or my car I still will have to walk some kilometers.
