A Man for All Seasons - Arron Peterson I came across Arron's Flickr site quite by accident and it immediately drew my attention. But when I saw his pen name, it seemed in conflict with his very unique and wonderfully artistic photographic style. The name is Arron Peterson Non HDR. To me, a basic novice, his work appeared to be a variation of HDR and so I went on to look at his introduction and that is when I got to meet the heart and soul of Arron. I quote from it as follows,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,," Wishing the world was as I imagine! I try to capture what I feel and see in my soul about the subject. I am shooting with my heart and trying very hard to share that vision.'" His compositions are a testimony to that goal. Warm, colorful, artistic, meaningful and inspiring. After finding his page, I spent most of my morning looking at his work and never got tired. Each photo brings forth a new strikingly beautiful and very interesting perspective. The colors, skylines, the people, the structures, the landscapes all artistically composed in a vivid rainbow of colors............That is his soul's work.........for others to enjoy the beauty that he sees in his subjects. Further in his down in his intro, he talks about his style and says......" I do not shoot HDR but use what I call the "Peterson Process" Happy to share my style technique or any insights I can provide"....... so I send him a message asking for his techniques, which most photographers would more than likely protect like a valuable family heirloom. Not the case with Arron though!! Within an hour I get an answer back with a full and detailed explanation of his process. This is a man with great artistic talent and a man with an equally great and unselfish heart who is openly ready, willing and able to share his skills and talents so readily with others. Thank you Arron for your generosity and your wonderful work.
