i keep tinkering with my stream. reduced to 126 photos. not a best off.

january 2020

cancelled my continuous pro subscription on my second account, after that pathetic email and then the news the subscription fee will rise in 2022. not worth it.

december 2019

went 'pro' on my second account.

weeded through my stream. i've kept the ones where people took the time to comment, together with a couple i don't want to delete just yet.

no more ... w w w . p e t e r m o o n s p h o t o g r a p h y . c o m ... . decided to not renew my portfolio subscription. i loved how the website looked, but €80/year and absolutely zero feedback is not a good deal.

so, i opened a second flickr account that i'll use to catalogue what i shoot. you can find that second account ... ! h e r e ! .

got a new website : w w w . p e t e r m o o n s p h o t o g r a p h y . c o m

for my previous site, i decided to go with clikpic . no complaints really, it's just that i (as a non english speaking native) found it incredibly complicated. clikpic is highly customizable and still i wasn't able to get the site looking the way i intended it to look. i'm sure it's in there, i just can't extract it.

now i'm using portfoliobox . it's less complicated and i found a nice minimal template, which i could change just enough to have the site looking just right. it's also a bit cheaper as well.

while the old website was aimed at selling my work (which i miserably failed at doing), the new one is more a portfolio of all the stuff i shoot. a bit like flickr before it got modern.

be sure to hit f11 when you decide to have a look. cheers.

nine visits in four years. you can see the result of those visits in this book.

(except ... from june 2020 on ... you can't anymore)

9th october 2013

after years of procrastination i've finally put together a booklet with 24 of my favourite powerline photos. the good thing about putting it off for so long, is that i could rework a few old ones and also put in a few spanking new ones.

this booklet wouldn't have happened if it wasn't for the encouragement i got from quite a few people here on flickr. so, a big thank you to all who have been so supportive these past years. you know who you are.

and a special thank you to john , for helping me with the design of this utterly minimal book.

(took it down in june 2020)

i decided to delete my stream after flickr went modern. for almost five years i've used flickr as a kind of photo journal, meticulously editing my stream, my sets, my galleries, my photo pages. old flickr allowed me to create my uncluttered and unobtrusive spot on the internet. new flickr does not.

i apologize to all the people who took time to comment on and fave quite a few of my photos. though those comments and faves are gone now, i want you all to know that they made me a better photog. a sincere thank you to all of you.

if you want to see the result of your comments, faves, encouragement and support from the past five years, please go and have a look at my website. cheers.

18th september 2012

w w w . p e t e r m o o n s . c o m .

be sure to hit f11 when you decide to have a look around. thank you.

Peter is an extremely talented photographer with an eye for detail. And when I say detail, I mean DETAIL - bits and pieces that would look like nothing to anyone else, Peter can transform into works of art. He is the one person who with the power of photography can transform telephone wire in a poetic ensemble of black and white. Other than that, Peter has an incredible sense of humour, and the horrible habit of not using caps in his sentences.
