People often ask me how we got started in herbal soap making and herb gardening. That is an easy question to answer because our soap making stems from a love of herbs and the gardener in me goes back to my roots as a farm girl. I am a Master Gardener volunteer and Northern Woods Herb Society member and have taught soap making/herb classes for the Elmcrest Acres Folk School, Northern Lights Master Gardeners, and right here on the farm in Porterfield.
