Thank you for taking a little time to read my profile.

For over 60 years now I am a hobby photographer. Primarily I work in Black and White. My great examples are people like Ronis, Kertesz, Doisneau, Brassai, Koudelka, Sieff, Salgado, Reza, Güler and others.

Main interest is street photography, although I try not to miss a chance on a good shot in other categories. I have a strong preference for wide angle lenses. On the M9 I use the 21mm practically as the standard lens.

My equipment: Leica M9, M3. and theFujifilm x 20 for snapshots. Recently I changed from Leica to Fujifilm (X-T2) Reason: Eyesight and hence the focussing with Leica was deteriorating. The automatic focussing and the zoomlenses of Fujifilm are a great help.

Lenses: Leica VC 4,5/15mm Super Heliar; Leica Elmarit-M Asph 2,8/21 mm; Leica Summicron-M 2,0/35mm (I) ; VC 1,5/50mm Nokton and Leica Elmarit-M 2,8/90mm. Fujifim: 10-24 mm f/4.0 and 18-55 mm f/2,8-4.0

Film: Ilford delta 100 prof and 400 delta prof.

I live in the southernmost city in the Netherlands, Maastricht. On the border with Belgium and only 25 kms from the border with Germany. Within a 100 km's you will find cities like Antwerp, Brussels and Liège in Belgium and Köln, Aachen and Düsseldorf in Germany. I like to travel and always carry the camera.
