I'm very much a landscape photographer be that urban or more often in the mountains so if your looking for people you'll need to look long and hard.

  

So what is my philosophy on photography well I suppose I am a photolandscapist. I look to capture what I see as I see it like the old style film photographer that ran off and developed a reel of film to get the one perfect shot but kept everything else in case something happened in the future.

 

For me I will try and capture the landscape where I am walking in the best possible light and then move on.

 

I aim to share that record with you all as you may draw something from an image that I don't see. This does mean that at times there is a risk that volume will drown out quality. So when my collection is fully uploaded (bear with me I've still a couple of months to go and then buy a scanner for my 35mm collection) I will start to highlight my favourites in each set in a group of sets on my home page.

  

On copyright you will see I keep all rights reserved. It not that I disagree with with collective commons licences or seek revenue from my images. Its just that I want to retain control over the use of my intellectual property.

  

If you want to use any of my images please contact me. More often than not I will release the image to you under collective commons if there is no profit element in the work I just want to know what it will be used for first.
