I'm just a guy from Northwest Ohio.

I grew up an Army brat that didn't live in my hometown until my dad retired from the service when I was 12. We traveled a lot and I lived in Germany for three years (Wesel and Karlsruhe) in the mid-70s. Graduated high school in the mid-80s and went to live in the "big" city of Columbus, with detours to Philadelphia, Denver, the Ohio Valley and the South Carolina Lowcountry.

Along the way I figured out I could write, discovered I love lo-fi photography and that I'm destined to live in the "sticks." Happily married to the love of my life, with two kids, one cat, and some Bakelite cameras.
