Peppe Arninge has been a freelance contract photographer for Scanpix Sweden (AP, AFP, Reuters, DPA and Corbis) since 1998. He also worked under contract with New York-based picture agency WpN between 2005 and 2009. Based in South East Asia, his single pictures and photographic stories have regularly been published in almost every newspaper in Scandinavia. His work has also appeared in a variety of international publications such as the Los Angeles Times (US), Chicago Tribune (US), Mauritius Times, The Times (UK), Gazeta (PL), Helsinkin Sanomaat (FIN), Bangkok Post (TH), Focus (GER), Sacramento Bee (US), L'Espresso (IT), and Days Japan. The Swedish government, county councils, publishing houses, advertising agencies, PR consultants, commercial buyers and a wide range of web-based news providers and television stations around the world have showcased his images. His work has also been exhibited at art museums and European photo galleries.

Peppe Arninge began his career as a reporter and columnist in Stockholm, Sweden in the early 1980's. After working as a correspondent for Swedish radio, he changed course in the mid-1990's and became a full time photojournalist. He is a graduate of the University of Stockholm and holds degrees from Berghs School of Communications and the Swedish Institute of Film.

In 2010 he released his new and controversial photo book "The Dump" in collaboration with Johan Stiernspetz at Talking Design Ltd. Two new book projects are in post-production and will be released during 2011 through his Swedish co-owned publishing house Publicera Publishing Group Ltd

In the beginning of 2011, Peppe Arninge received the prestigious City of Vasteras grant for his inquisitive documentary photographs from Cambodia, involving people living on the edge. At the same time one of his pictures was selected for a permanent installation at well-known Bletchley Park in England, which was the home of Churchill's secret intelligence during the second world war. Since 2011 his books can be found at the National Library of Sweden.
