After taking pictures for years with a Canon A1 and later with EOS1 and EOS5 I came back to photography when digitals reached 2mp. I really start ejoying again with mi first pseudoreflex (several minoltas til A2) and mostly with EOS 350D, 5D and 1Ds Mark III.
Cameras: Canon 1Ds Mark III, Canon 1Dx, and yes, a G12 with underwater housing for fun and something more,
Lenses: Canon 16-35 L II, 24-105 IS L,70-300 f4/5.6 IS L, 1,4X converter, 100 macro, 15 mm Fisheye, but currently almost all my work is done using T&S lenses for architectural work and panos: Canon 24 TSE LII, 17 TSE, 45 TSE and Hartblei 80 mm
Flash: finaly...yes (sheldom used, mostly for focusing) led mini pannels from time to time
Tripod (used non stop): Gitzo Carbon with Arca Swiss head
Under the "abandonments" cathegory, my photograph is about devastation and tries to make you guess what the toughts and stories of derelict places and things are. It runs from industrial landscape to abstract through architectural.
Since a couple of years I did my entering in the art market. Currently working with spanish galleries IB (Madrid), Vanguardia (Bilbao) and Hartmann (Barcelona). Some solo exhibits in my career plus appearings in MadridFoto 2010, MadridFoto (international spanish photo fair) and awaiting february for my second time in Madrid International Contemporary Art Fair (ARCO)

It is very hard having a master, but it is harder having Alfonso as a master...... Joking apart, as well as being a fantastic photographer, Alfonso is also a very generous person. He teaches me lots of things every day, putting up with my countless questions. Shooting with him is a very pleasant experience. He is always in a good mood and he makes difficult things easy. I admire his special perception of architectural space. I think that his works about derelict buildings are simply superb. I appreciate a lot his touch of surrealism and his continuous search for new ways with which he surprises us every day. Talking seriously, the only certain thing is the first sentence of this testimony……….:-)

There are photographers who capture scenes of industrial and urban decay -- and then there are a small few who are able to capture its beauty. Alfonso is one of those few photographers who have the ability to render this beauty in his photos. While I envy the remarkable places he has explored through the photos he shares I have had the opportunity to tag along and see through his eyes. I appreciate Alfonso's incredible work and look forward to seeing more in the future.
