From all my contacts Shigemi is one of the most dearest. I can't remember anymore when we have met but it was a long time, so this testimonial is long over due. Shigemi is a good photographer who shares her day to day life in Japan with us, showing the beauty around her with an open mind and a positive look up on life. Her macro's are beautiful, the pictures of the parks in her area outstanding and inviting, the photo's of her cats enchanting and she allows us views on Japanese culture in her own special way. Shigemi is also a very loyal and caring person, an asset to the world we call flickr, but also to my own private world. I call pen3ya a true good friend and hope to be able to meet her in real life too one day. Thank you Shigemi for brightening up my days:-)

Shigemi is one of the few Flickerites I can meet offline and I feel fortunate to be able to do so! She is always cheerful and friendly with a kind word to say. She has many interests and talents and loves to share her knowledge and experiences. She is also a student - always learning and exploring. English is not her native language but she has entered the Flickr world in English and has made friends and expanded her horizons in ways others can only envy! Besides all that she is a wonderful photographer. Her photographs show much of her wonderful personality too, so I am happy to see them and know her better through them!
