hi. (spring 2009)
I am an amateur. An emerging photographer. I hope to someday be a least semi-pro.
peggyklinephotography.weebly.com
So here is a little about me. I am soon to be 50 years old. I am a RN and have been working in surgery for almost 20 years. I am married for 18 years. Have a son, a step-daughter and 3 grandchildren. Two precious cairn terries; Hank and Patsy.
I have always been running around with a camera. But only recently started developing a serious interest. I got my first dslr in October 08. I have been reading photography books nonstop. Have a few instructional DVDs. Almost daily check photo websites, blogs, groups and so on. I am picking up information as I go. But the more I learn the more I realize how little I know.
I have been doing some practice photo sessions with friends and family. I would love to take a few classes, but haven't found anything in my area at this time. I feel like I am just struggling through endless amounts of information. And then once and a while I get a picture that I think is pretty good. And I think "oh, I might be making a little progress".
I currently take pictures with:
Canon XS
18mm-55mm kit lens
50mm f1.4 (my most recent splurge)
10.28.2011: added to my gear.
Canon XSI
tamron 18-270
Canon 430 EXII flash
I am constantly inspired by so many of the photographers on this site and many others.
So if you would like to stop by and chat. Or have wonderful advice, information or useful wisdom you would like to share....please drop in anytime. I would love and appreciate any help that I can get. Not to mention....maybe make a couple of new friends on the way.
Have a happy day.
Peg.

am shooting one or more paid sessions a month. which is good and bad. am always a nervous wreck. am always just sure the photos are all going to be bad. but there always seems to be enough keepers. learning learning learning.
