In the thirty years that I have been a photographer, I have gone through many transformations in the way that I use photography.

My relationship with my art falls somewhere between full control and letting anything happen. The resulting images are an exploration between the photographic and the constructed. I juxtapose seemingly unrelated or competing elements to create visual and technical contrast. My interest is in portraying a metamorphosis or state of mind usually triggered by literature or poetry.
