Who me?? Well I'm RETIRED and LOVING IT!! One of those very fortunate old codgers who can pick up the camera and go . . . that is when my good lady says so . . . of course!

Always been interested in photography but didn't take it up until I retired, so I'm still very much learning, but it's a wonderful media for showcasing some of God's incredible creation and gifts.

I'm adding this now (2017) as it is becoming impracticable to thank everyone individually who either "faves" or - especially, takes the time and trouble to comment on my photographs. I really appreciate all remarks - especially the constructively critical ones! But thank you anyway and thanks for looking. I hope they give you as much pleasure as I derived from taking them.

One further note: I have only just learned, that unless an "@" symbol is placed before the name in any comment , no acknowledgement is sent. SO MY PROFOUND APOLOGIES to all who have kindly commented on my work prior to 11th April, 2026. I have added my thanks but did not add the "@" front of your name. You therefore would not have received my acknowledgement of thanks. What can I say ? ? Apparently you can teach an "old dog" new tricks. Thanks to you all anyway.
