I am a irish graphic designer who works and lives in Amsterdam, hence a lot of my fotos are of Ireland and Holland. I work a lot in advertisng (I have my own freelance business called MARVELOUS) and as a result see many portfolios from talented photographers. In a re-action to this commercial background I like to minimise or remove the stylized, moody or 'designed' feeling commercial images often have in this field.

I am a keen hiker and backpack camper, which often places me in beautiful locations. Coming from a very magical landscape (Ireland) I feel I have a deep understanding of my relationship with geography and nature. I also feel I have a good ability to take everyday people and situations quite well. To conclude I often say ' I want to take pictures that your grandmother would like'. Put simply, nice images that give the viewer a restful moment in this increasingly busy world of ours. I leave the art to the Picasso's of this world.
