I was born and raised in Charleston, SC but I have lived all over the place. Everywhere from Mississippi to DC to Amsterdam. I like to consider myself an {almost} Southern Belle. I've lived outside of the South for too long to be full fledged, but I take with me the Southern values of family, faith, and proper etiquette everywhere I may end up. I love to travel and write, and cook and eat; but most of all I love to love my little family. I'm a new wife and mummy...and a doggie mum too. My three boys (Hubby, Little Bear (son), and Roo (dog)) mean more than the world to me. Since having Little Bear I've become a SAHM and while it definitely is not as easy as I thought it would be I am loving every single second of it!

I'm very much an amateur photog. However, my camera is one of my most prized possessions and I use it on a daily basis. Capturing the little moments that make life worth living is what I love. Wether it's taking snaps of Little Bear and Rooney or shooting street photography somewhere in Europe I'm very rarely without at least one camera.

The community on Flickr is my favorite thing about this site. I love to share images and to see everyone else's. We all have such different world perspectives. This site is a fantastic way to meld them all and to bring people from all corners together. I've "met" some truly wonderful people here and hope to continue to get to know many more. The little comments people leave make my day just a little brighter!
