Paul is a 2nd generation builder, and began his career while still in college in Dallas, TX in 1986, where he met his wife, Lisa. For many years, he owned and operated a successful general contracting company in the Midwest and has served on the board of NARI—the National Association of the Remodeling Industry. After relocating to Colorado, Paul determined that the unique soil conditions in the region were causing structural issues in residences. Foundation repair problems were right up his alley, so a business was born. Paul went on to complete comprehensive training at the Basement Systems Institute in Seymour, Connecticut, as well as studying structural foundation and soil dynamics at Grip-Tite University in Omaha, NE. Since launching Peak Basement Systems, Paul joins the ranks of a network with over 200 of the best basement and foundation service companies in the world.
