Until my accident (Feb 2015), I used to enjoy and was a keen hill and moorland walker along with being a keen amateur photographer. Most of the pre 2015 photos that appear here will be from my wanderings on the hills and across the moors, along with general landscape, nature and some buildings.
I use a variety of cameras depending on what I'm doing, where I am and most importantly, the weather. General landscape and nature photography I tended to use my DSLR, now replaced by a Mirrorless camera, through at times I do use one of my two compacts. In the Exif data for each photo, it details not just the camera used but also the exposure settings.
For hill and moorland photography I used one of two compacts. Weather permitting I use a compact that has manual override on, but if the weather is looking very wet, then I use a fully weatherproof compact, which doesn't have manual override on.
Very rarely I may capture a scene using my mobile phone. Most mobile phones today have very good digital cameras, though I prefer using a cameras with optical zoom rather than digital zoom.
