I have friends, family, a job and all that good stuff, but for the purposes of an online photo-sharing site such as this, the main thing you should know about me is this:

I'm the world's biggest fan of Portland, Oregon--my future home! I have written and compiled thousands of pages of documents about this incredible city, and I'd be happy to share any or all of these documents with anyone. I'm all about sharing, and you can feel free to use any of my photos however you'd like to!

Beyond Portland, I really cherish every speck of Earth belonging to the region known as "Cascadia", which consists of everything from extreme northern California (think Eureka, Redwoods and Shasta) to Whistler, BC, and from Coast to Cascade Crest. That covers Portland, Seattle, Vancouver and many other great cities such as Eugene, Corvallis, Olympia and Bellingham, as well as the lush Willamette Valley, the Puget Sound/Georgia Basin ecosystem, the Olympic Peninsula and all of the major Cascade volcanoes--Hood, Rainier, St Helens, Shasta, Jefferson, etc.

Right now I have a great job and wonderful family in Denver, and I live an equal distance from my parents in Milwaukee and my other brother in Houston. Plus, I get to travel to the Northwest quite often, so I can't complain at all. But eventually the region will be my permanent home, and until then, I'll post lots of amazing photos of my travel there and elsewhere!
