In the late eighties I discovered photography using my dad's camera (Olympus OM-10). In 1993 I bought my first SLR camera (Minolta 7i with a lot of accessories), at that time I was mostly interested in landscapes and used it a lot on my several travel trips to Norway, Austria and France and shot mostly color negative film (Fuji Velvia was my fave), also experimented a little with infrared B&W film.

Due to circumstances I lost interest in photography from 2000 till 2008, at the end of 2008 I discovered the photostream of Erroba on Flickr (friend and colleague from work), when I saw his work with HDR I was excited again in photography. After some research on the brands active in the DSLR range, my decision was made and I bought me a Nikon D90 SLR kit, a little bit later I also bought the Sigma 10-20mm lens for some quality wide-angle shots. In 2011 I had an accident with the camera and upgraded to a D300s, and upgrade through D800 and D850. Now I rather spend money on lenses.

For post-processing I mainly use Lightroom as database and developing tool with some retouching in photoshop when needed.
