Born in the mid 1960's in Plymouth, Devon, UK, where I still live and work.

Developed an early interest in the way buildings are put together after 'playing' on building sites when I was growing up!

Left school and went straight into a local architects practice working as tea-boy/architectural technician. Now a Chartered Architectural Technologist and a full member of CIAT.

Married for 30+ years with 3 children and grandkids

Interest in photography started in the early 1980's. My first 'real' camera was a Praktica MTL-5. Soon moved to the Nikon system via FG-20, F601, FE2, D70, D200 and now the D800, Z Fc and F3.

Recently rediscovering the joys of film photography whilst they still are making film. Getting pleasing results from vintage medium format gear and also a Chroma 6x17 120 panoramic camera with Schneider lenses.
