I am a retired veteran of the Canadian Armed Forces after 23 years service. My interest in photography began in 1993 when I bought my first 35mm film camera and I have been enjoying taking pictures ever since. I am self taught with no formal training and consider myself to be an amateur photographer.

Most of my recent work are images from around the coastal areas of my home province of Nova Scotia. I love our province and since I am unable to travel around the world, I make do with what I have right here at home. There is still some extensive travelling/driving involved, as well as waking up extremely early to capture many of these images but it is well worth it. I make sure to have coffee on hand so that I stay upright behind the wheel of my jeep. :)
