British Isles Railway Enthusiast, interested in numerous track gauges upwards from 7.25" (184.15 mm), and including steam, diesel, gas turbine and electric traction, multiple units, tramways, pier railways, cliff and funicular railways, metros, monorail etc. and all manner of various vehicles. Travelled the length and breadth of the UK and Republic of Ireland. Locomotive and train number snatcher since birth and have been photographing all types of anything that moves on rails since 1970. My Flickr account contains just a snapshot (pun intended!) of my complete photographic collection of both 35 mm print and digital images, and produced here are all digital photographs taken between 2001 and the present day. One day (when I am a retired person and have about a decade to spare), I intend to digitise the 35 mm print collection (about 15,000 images) and place a lot of them on this site, but until then, I hope that you enjoy seeing them and that some might be familiar and bring back similar happy memories.
