I’m called Pirate Braveheart… I’m also known as Pirate William.

By profession… I’m a semi–retired steampunk pirate. I’m also a brewer and distiller, a picture maker, and a sometimes builder in a place called Second Life. When I first came to Second Life (SL) I landed on the shores of a place called Northfarthin’. I thrived there and I wived there… and I became a pirate and an adventurer there.

I gathered a crew about me and we became one of the scourges of the SL seas and skies. We frequented the Selidorian Island sims and could be found drinkin’ and dancin’ at the tavern at Lost Town. We would eventually find ourselves on the island sim of Hangout were we took up residence in the pirate town of Chaill Gra… near the land of Amore Perduto. The queen there, Daisy, agreed to protect us and pardon us of our… piratin’ and transgressin’ as long as we agreed to protect the island from pirates and the scurvy goreans (and let us not forget about those filthy vampires of Resumption)…

I became constable of Chaill Gra and me and my crew did as we promised and protected the land… and the queen and I became quite close and eventually married… and we were all very happy till the outside powers of RL came and disrupted our lives… then a very sneaky lady pirate came and claimed the land as hers and told us we had to leave…

It was quite a blow and since the crew no longer had a home…. The sea began its callin’ and the lads answered and took what they could carry… which included my sleepin’ self and left the shores of Hangout. I barely even got to say goodbye to Queen Daisy.

We sailed around SL aimlessly for what seemed to be weeks and eventually ended up back at Lost Town in Selidor. But then as fate would have it… the winds filled our sails and we ended up on the sim of Pasture… at a place called Pirate’s Cove.

I’m not exactly sure what the future holds but I’m are slowly and carefully buildin’ a tiny home for me and my crew… Our Bird of Prey (a pirate ship) is docked in the Cove and we’ve set up quite an impressive home in the sky (a vast airship)…
