Paul's passion for creating imagery started 30 years ago in film photography. Other artistic pursuits have included line drawing of faces on annual trips to Europe over a period of 10 years, pottery, figure painting, and, for the past several years, photographing people on a weekly basis. Paul particularly loves the impact of large family & group portraits with each person displaying something of their unique character. Paul is inspired by fashion (especially European magazines such as Vogue Italia), modern music, furniture and paintings. Paul is the photographer for a unique coffee table book about La Jolla, CA planned for publication in 2009. A native of Boulder, Colorado Paul has lived in La Jolla for four years and in the San Diego area for the past 10 years.
