Dreams all around ......................... as I see time pass me by........................... now I won't have the time.

What kind of world are we living in where it's so hard to keep your spirit free?

Keep moving.................................

But often, in the world's most crowded streets,

But often, in the din of strife,

There rises an unspeakable desire

After the knowledge of our buried life;

A thirst to spend our fire and restless force

In tracking out our true, original course;

A longing to inquire

Into the mystery of this heart which beats

So wild, so deep in us -- to know

Where our lives come and where they go.

Matthew Arnold, 1842

Everything in nature is lyrical in its ideal essence;

tragic in its fate, and cosmic in its existence.

George Santayana

How long will the horse of the sky keep galloping,

How long will it race across the roof peak,

The business of the world is like a shadow,

Which has no value to the sun.

Going slowly up into the mountains-

Soft moonlight seemed to reach everywhere -

Light winds sighed in the trees-

Animals living in a net of starlight-

Knowing your depth-

Is to know the life of a moment-

in the wild and quiet places.

by old wilderness philosopher

Old Tibetan exercise -- Scouring the Wind -- Extend your awareness into the air and float with it, become mindful of the world it carries and absorb its lessons.

“But the love of wilderness is more than a hunger for what is always beyond reach; it is also an expression of loyalty to the earth, the earth which bore us and sustains us, the only home we shall ever know, the only paradise we ever need — if only we had the eyes to see. Original sin, the true original sin, is the blind destruction for the sake of greed of this natural paradise which lies all around us — if only we were worthy of it.”
