Hello fellow lovers of photography!

inspiration for photography came from my father's enthusiasm for Polaroid cameras and 35mm slide photos. Became the High School newspaper photographer, then several photography jobs, an equestrian photographer's apprentice, a photo processing/photography shop technician and sales clerk, even a couple seasons as ski photographer in Aspen, with miscellaneous semi-pro and amateur photo experiences topping it all off. It never became my life's work, but have always remained a practicing photo enthusiast.

With plenty of darkroom and all-manual film camera experience, am now enjoying the vast improvements of digital. After several entry-level crop frame digital cameras, have indulged myself with a Nikon D600, then D610 taking the jump into full-frame digital, and love it. My main lens is the Nikkor 28-300 VRII AF-S. We travel a lot, and the best shots get into Flicker. Enjoy!
