Born and bred in Northern Ireland, in currently resides in Ballymena County Antrim. His passion for photography began about ten years ago when his keen eye for shape and form and particularly landscapes led him to the medium of photography.

Paul has a National Diploma in Photography and is constantly learning new techniques to keep his work alive and fresh and constantly evolving. His work is testimony to his love of monochrome and the startling contrasts of light, shade and dimensions.

The great outdoors is our office, and one we are passionate about. Our beautiful planet is under threat from all directions. It deserves our respect and admiration. On location we follow the code “leave no trace”.

Paul loves to capture nature in all its forms, especially mountain ranges in particular The Mournes in County Down, forests, rivers and lakes and seascapes, in particular Downhill, Mussenden and Dunluce County Antrim.

Indeed Paul and his girlfriend Lorraine can be seen in all weathers perched on a cliff or knee deep in a river waiting for the light to change for the perfect shot!

His photography is powerful and stirs the emotions yet also fragile and sensitive. Paul’s attention to detail and his eye for a great shot is evident in his work. He never compromises on integrity and always remains true to his love of nature and our great planet.
