I bought my first SLR, a Nikon FE in 1989 while living in Sydney. I taught myself how to use the camera and ended up developing my B&W film and printing in my darkroom in the early nineties.

I love travelling, music and reading along side my photography.

I started using digital SLR's in 2008 but remain passionate about film. I still use my Nikon F, F2, F3, F4, F5 and my Hasselblad 500 CM and will hopefully keep shooting film for everything except when photographing gigs.

My main influences in photography are photojournalism, street, fine art and music. Cartier Bresson, W Eugene Smith, McCullin and Kevin Cummins being some of my favourites.
