After looking at this section I realised it was very old so this is the new version with some bits from the old.

I like photography a lot but it's more a passing interest than a hobby while I build on my skills. I don't take nearly as many photographs as I'd like to but hopefully that'll change as I learn how better to take shots and what makes a good image.

I own a Sony Alpha A200 with the standard kit lens for now but aim to get a hold of a 50mm prime when I can. Nearly all of my photos are structures and / or scenery and I only have shots with people in them to add to a shot or if it can't be avoided.
