A frequent theme running throughout my engagements is the subject of 'Unpacking the Creative Process'. Creative processes need not be haphazard or questionable procedures; rather, creativity can become deliberate and effective procedures. This deliberate approach to creativity and innovation is captured in what I call 'Design Thinking'.
Design Thinking is a practical model that has been extracted from the effective patterns used by highly creative people to form principles that are behind any creative process.
Creativity is now the difference that makes the difference.
And yet creativity still remains for many people a mystery. This need not be the case. Everyone can be creative. And when people are creative they are creative in different ways. It is important to recognise this diversity - everyone can have their own style of creativity. And yet there are common patterns among creative people. In my work while unpacking the creative process, I uses these patterns to extract common creative principles that are gathered together into a practical model called Design Thinking.
