My journey in photography began when I used my father's Kodak Instamatic around age 10 and liked the results. I bought a Kodak 110 film camera in my late teens, then graduated to an SLR in 1978 when I purchased a Zenit camera. I graduated to the Pentax system in the mid 1980's.

My first digital camera was another Kodak DX3600 with a massive 2.2 megapixels, followed by an Olympus C750 which I used for a few years.

When I decided to jump up to a digital SLR I looked at Canon, Nikon and Pentax but settled on the Nikon because it just felt right and seemed more robust.

Since then I have stayed on the Nikon path, largely because of the huge range of lenses dating back to 1959 that can be used, especially since the older lenses are really well made, durable and the optics cannot be faulted.

I hope you enjoy my photo stream as much as I've enjoyed making it!

The first time I found Paul´s creations I was new user of the Nikon D600, so I was looking at the capabilities of this camera through other photographers eyes. Suddenly I bump into Paul´s portrait of light and feel in love with his gallery at first sight. When you try to capture moments there are a lot of challenges, the first one known your camera techs and whistles the best way possible, for Paul this is secondary as he mastered light as a poetic second nature. He is definitely a master finding the perfect spot waiting till the exact moment to happen and taking the soul in front of his eyes and transform the zeros and ones of his camera into Paul´s magic world. I know my english does not make enough justice to Paul but as and islander my self I can´t be proud enough for my dear friend.
