I'm an artist living in Amsterdam. My background is painting but in the last few years I've been working more with sound, video and photography. I use Flickr as a note book and as a way of keeping my eyes open to the beauty of daily life.

In 2020 my book 'Island Tides' was published by Bluecoat press and is a collection of my photographs of the island Vatersay in the Outer Hebrides of Scotland and it's inhabitants.

I have visited regularly for more than 40 years and the series reflects the changing population and beautiful landscape of the place and people.
