As a US Navy Photographer I was stationed with the Pacific Fleet Combat Camera Group Diving Locker. During my time in the navy I worked on documentary and training films as a motion picture camera operator both topside and underwater. After leaving the Navy I went back to school studying mass communications. During this time I did work for several magazines. In 1985 I went to work at the Naval Ocean Systems Center in San Diego. as a scientific, technical and underwater photographer for the Department of the Navy. I returned to the Bay Area in 1995 to start an Aerial and Architectural Photography business. Today I enjoy spending time in nature while sharing my knowledge and passion teaching landscape photography workshops as well as basic photography classes.
