There are visual riches to be found within ten feet of where you stand right now — the trick, if you can call it that, is to see what’s there.

The photographs we produce are always — on some level — autobiographical; in everything we create, we speak about some aspect of ourselves.

Do NOT put "awards" in comments on my photos. This is an obnoxious behavior. It treats the sharing of imagery not as a gift of vision and spirit, but as a competition to see who can collect the most Golden Crayons. Please refrain.

Oh, and one more thing: "capture" is a verb, not a noun. Please don't refer to my photographs as "captures", this ain't Instagr*m.
