Drag to set position!
I am an Astronomer living in East Cheshire near Jodrell Bank.
I have been interested in the hobby since my day's at junior school.
And only started taking a more serious interest during the 1990's, when my local astronomical society, Macc AS, was founded in May 1990.
Since that time. I have owned various telescope's all made locally by a firm in Crewe. Orion Optics.
I now use a modified, Canon 1000D DSLR, & Atik16ic ccd camera.
My main imaging telescope is. A 254mm F4.8 deluxe Newtonian reflector.
I have this mounted to a Losmandy G11, with Gemini GOTO.
I also own a Doublet APO, a William Optics ZS66SD.
I am the Observing director of Macclesfield Astronomical Society.
And I am also a member of.
The British Astronomical Association, The Society for Popular Astronomy & The Webb Deep Sky Society.
