For those of you who actually read these things. Some of you may have notice I that have not been leaving comments or posting any new photos for a while. I am taking a break from Flickr. Nothing serious, just take care of things in the real world for a while. I probably will be back at some point, I just don't know when.

Stuff about me

I am just your typical t-girl trying to figure this all out. I enjoy expressing my femininity and love almost everything about the feminine lifestyle. While I have been dressing all my life I only started going out in January 2007. It was one of the best things I have ever done and my only regret is that I did not start going out sooner.

Years ago before there was Flick or social networking sites people used to have personal web pages. I miss the personal web pages. The one thing that set them apart from today's social networking site was that they were personal and unique. Every body's page was different. Unlike today social networking sites which are all the same. I had my own web page called "Paula's Place". One of the more popular pages on my site was a Questions & Answers page part of which is reproduced below.

Q. Why do you like to wear women clothes?

A. I think that Bugs Bunny is to blame. All those cartoons where he is dressed in drag had a big impact on my young mind. When I first started crossdressing it was all about the clothes and makeup. I loved the different styles and fabrics. After a while I realized it was more than just the clothes and makeup, it was the overall lifestyle of being a woman. I like the fact that woman can change their looks if the mood strikes them. They can change their makeup or wear no makeup. They can change their hair style and color. They can wear a short skirt and heels or pants and flats. Regarding the lifestyle woman are allowed much more freedom than men in the way they act. It's ok for a woman to be emotional or cry. They can do almost anything that a man can do and not appear to be weird. That's not to say that I think it is easy being a woman. In the morning it takes me only 30 minutes to shower, shave, eat breakfast and then I am ready to go to work. I know that women can spend at least that long getting dressed and putting on their makeup. Then there is the matter if having a period every month. On top of all that they have to put up with men. Still I think that there are many advantages to be a woman.

Q. What is your sexual orientation?

A. I am only attracted to women. I have no desire to date a man. I am not bi or gay (not that there is anything wrong with that). What does that mean? It means that I do not date men. So please do not ask me for a date. Or to put it another way, if you don't have a vagina then I am not interested in dating you.

Q. How about when you are dressed? Don't you want to be with a man so you can feel more like a woman?

A. No, I never had any desire to date a man. Why would I want to date men when there are women around? Women are just so fantastic. I love everything about them, the softness of their skin, their luxurious hair, the curves on their body, their sweet scent.

Q. Have you ever told a girlfriend that you are a crossdresser?

A. In the past it was something that I have always kept hidden. One woman I dated knew about Paula and she said that she had no problems with her, but we did not date long enough for her to meet Paula. I really don't know how I will handle this in the future. I can understand why women might not accept it.

Q. So what are you looking for?

A. After all these years I still really don’t know. I am just following this path and seeing where it goes.
